§ 115C‑277. Office, equipment, and clerical assistance to be provided by board.

It shall be the duty of the various boards of education to provide thesuperintendent of schools with an appropriate office. Likewise, it shall be theduty of the various boards of education to furnish adequately thesuperintendent's office and provide all necessary office supplies. Authority ishereby given to boards of education to employ sufficient clerical assistantsand purchase sufficient office machines and equipment to the end that thebusiness of the superintendent of schools shall always be conducted in a promptand efficient manner.
