Article 21.

Revenue Bonds for Student Housing, Student Activities,Physical Education and Recreation.

§ 116‑187.  Purpose of Article.

The purpose of this Article is to authorize the Board of Governors ofthe University of North Carolina to issue revenue bonds, payable from rentals,charges, fees (including student fees) and other revenues but with no pledge oftaxes or the faith and credit of the State or any agency or politicalsubdivision thereof, to pay the cost, in whole or in part, of buildings and otherfacilities for the housing, health, welfare, recreation and convenience ofstudents enrolled at the institutions hereinafter designated, housing offaculty, adult or continuing education programs and for revenue‑producingparking decks or structures, and for University of North Carolina Hospitals atChapel Hill.
