Article 25.

Disruption on Campuses ofState‑Owned Institutions of Higher Education.

§ 116‑212.  Campus ofstate‑supported institution of higher education subject to curfew.

The chancellor or president ofany state‑supported institution of higher learning may designate periodsof time during which the campuses of such institutions and designated buildingsand facilities connected therewith are off‑limits and subject to a curfewas to all persons who are not faculty members, staff personnel, currentlyenrolled students of that institution, local law‑enforcement officers,members of the National Guard on active duty, members of the General Assembly,the Governor of North Carolina and/or his designated agents, persons authorizedby the chief administrative officer of the institution or his designated agent,and any person who satisfactorily identifies himself as a reporter for anynewspaper, magazine, radio or television station. Any person not hereinauthorized who comes onto or remains on said campus in violation of thissection shall be punished as set out in G.S. 116‑213.  (1969, c. 860, s. 1; 2009‑281,s. 1.)
