Part 1. Organization.
§ 120‑158. Creation ofCommission.
(a) There is createdthe Joint Legislative Commission on Municipal Incorporations, referred to inthis Article as "Commission".
(b) The Commissionshall consist of six members, appointed as follows:
(1) Two Senatorsappointed by the President Pro Tempore of the Senate;
(2) Two House membersappointed by the Speaker;
(3) One city manager orelected city official, appointed by the President Pro Tempore of the Senatefrom a list of three eligible persons nominated by the North Carolina League ofMunicipalities; and
(4) One countycommissioner or county manager, appointed by the Speaker from a list of threeeligible persons nominated by the North Carolina Association of CountyCommissioners. (1985 (Reg. Sess., 1986), c. 1003, s. 1; 1991, c. 739,s. 17.)
