§ 121‑7.3.  Admissionfees.

The Department of CulturalResources may charge a reasonable admission fee to any museum administered bythe Department. Admission fees collected under this section are receipts of theDepartment and shall be deposited in a nonreverting account. The Departmentshall retain unbudgeted receipts at the end of each fiscal year, beginning June30, 2004, and shall deposit these receipts into the account. Funds in theaccount shall be used to support a portion of each museum's operation. TheSecretary may adopt rules necessary to carry out the provisions of thissection. The Department shall provide a quarterly report to the JointLegislative Commission on Governmental Operations as to the Department's ormuseums' anticipated use of funds or expenditures of funds pursuant to thissection.
