§126‑52.  Definitions.

For purposes of this Article:

(1)        "Assignedemployee" means an employee of a sending agency who is assigned ordetailed to a receiving agency as part of the employee's regular duties withthe sending agency.

(2)        "Employee onleave" means an employee on leave of absence without pay from a sendingagency who becomes an employee of a receiving agency while on leave from thesending agency.

(3)        "Receivingagency" means any division, department, agency, instrumentality,authority, or political subdivision of the federal government or of a state orlocal government which, under this Article, receives an employee of anothergovernmental division, department, agency, instrumentality, authority, orpolitical subdivision of the federal government or of a state or localgovernment.

(4)        "Sendingagency" means any division, department, agency, instrumentality,authority, or political subdivision of the federal government or of a state orlocal government which, under this Article, sends any employee thereof toanother governmental division, department, agency, instrumentality, authority,or political subdivision of the federal government or of a state or localgovernment.
