§ 127A‑45.5.  NorthCarolina National Guard Meritorious Civilian Service Award.

There is hereby created theNorth Carolina National Guard Meritorious Civilian Service Award which shallconsist of a certificate of a design approved by the Governor or his designatedrepresentative. The Adjutant General of North Carolina or a designatedrepresentative, who shall not be below the grade of general officer, isauthorized to confer this award. This award may be granted to individuals,organizations, corporations, associations and other groups, making asubstantial contribution to the North Carolina National Guard.  (1977, c. 796; 2009‑281,s. 1.)
