§ 130A‑291.2.  Temporarydomestic wastewater holding tanks.

When a permanent domesticwastewater collection and treatment system is not available at a constructionsite or a temporary special event, a temporary wastewater holding tank ofadequate capacity to prevent overflow may be used under a mobile or modularoffice to accommodate domestic wastewater from a commode and sink. Thewastewater shall be removed often enough to prevent the temporary domesticwastewater holding tank from overflowing. The owner or lessee of a temporaryconstruction trailer shall contract with a registered septage management firmor registered portable toilet sanitation firm for the removal of domesticwaste. The wastewater shall be removed from the temporary domestic wastewater holdingtank by a septage management firm holding a current permit to operate a septagefirm. (2001‑505,s. 1.2.)
