§130A‑310.38.  Brownfields Property Reuse Act Implementation Account.

The Brownfields Property ReuseAct Implementation Account is created as a nonreverting interest‑bearingaccount in the Office of the State Treasurer. The Account shall consist of feesand interest collected under G.S. 130A‑310.39, moneys appropriated to itby the General Assembly, moneys received from the federal government, moneyscontributed by private organizations, and moneys received from any othersource. Funds in the Account shall be used by the Department to defray thecosts of implementing this Part. The Department may contract with a privateentity for any services necessary to implement this Part.
