§ 130A‑367.  Dentalproviders for problem access areas.

The State's dental publichealth program shall encourage the expansion of current educational andtraining programs for dentists, dental hygienists, and dental assistantstargeted to serve citizens' unmet needs, particularly in the rural and low‑incomeareas that have traditionally had problems in accessing dental care. Theprogram shall also promote and encourage the recruitment of in‑State andout‑of‑state private sector dental personnel to work in thesedental health professional shortage areas. (2002‑37, s. 1.)
