§ 131E‑30. Appropriations.

Each year the governing body of a city or county in which the hospitalauthority is located may appropriate and transfer funds to the authority. Theappropriations shall be from the General Fund and may not exceed five percent (5%)of the General Fund. Money appropriated and paid to the hospital authority by acity or county shall be deemed a necessary expense of the city or county.However, the appropriations shall not be deemed to be a revenue of theauthority for the purpose of bonds of the hospital authority issued under theLocal Government Revenue Bond Act, Chapter 159 of the General Statutes, Article5. (1943, c. 780, s. 25;1971, c. 780, s. 23; c. 799; 1983, c. 775, s. 1.)
