§ 136‑89.193. Annualplan of work; annual and quarterly reports.
(a) Annual Plan ofWork. The Authority shall annually develop a plan of work for the fiscalyear, describing the activities and projects to be undertaken, accompanied by abudget. This annual plan of work shall be subject to the concurrence of theBoard of Transportation.
(b) Annual Reports. The Authority shall, promptly following the close of each fiscal year, submitan annual report of its activities for the preceding year to the Governor, theGeneral Assembly, and the Department of Transportation. Each report shall beaccompanied by an audit of its books and accounts.
(c) Semiannual Reports. The Authority shall submit semiannual reports to the Joint LegislativeTransportation Oversight Committee, and more frequent reports if requested. Thereports shall summarize the Authority's activities during the preceding sixmonths, and shall contain any information about the Authority's activities thatis requested by the Committee.
(d) Report Prior to Letof Contracts. The Authority shall consult with and report to the JointLegislative Transportation Oversight Committee and the Joint LegislativeCommission on Governmental Operations prior to the letting of any contract forTurnpike Project construction authorized under G.S. 136‑183(a)(2).
(e) Report Prior toStudy and Design. The Authority shall consult with and report to the JointLegislative Transportation Oversight Committee and the Joint LegislativeCommission on Governmental Operations prior to the study, planning, developmentor design of any Turnpike Project authorized under G.S. 136‑89.183(a)(3).(2002‑133,s. 1.)
