It shall be unlawful for any board of directors, board of trustees orother governing body of any of the various State institutions (penal,charitable, or otherwise) to appoint or elect any person who may be or has beenat any time within six months a member of such board of directors, board oftrustees, or other governing body, to any position in the institution, whichposition may be under the control of such board of directors, board of trustees,or other governing body.
