Personal ServiceContracts.

§ 143‑64.70.  Personalservice contracts – reporting requirements.

(a)        By January 1 ofeach year, each State department, agency, and institution shall make a detailedwritten report to the Office of State Budget and Management and the Office ofState Personnel on its utilization of personal services contracts that have anannual expenditure greater than twenty‑five thousand dollars ($25,000).The report by each State department, agency, and institution shall include thefollowing:

(1)        Identification ofthe department and employee responsible for oversight of the performance of thecontract.

(2)        Vendor or contractorname, object of expenditure description, contract award amount, purchase orderor contract number, purchase order start and end date, source of funds, andamount disbursed during the fiscal year.

(3)        through (7) Repealed by Session Laws 2007‑322, s. 7, effective July 30, 2007.

(b)        By March 15 of eachyear, the Office of State Budget and Management and the Office of StatePersonnel shall compile and analyze the information required under subsection(a) of this section and shall submit to the Joint Legislative Commission onGovernmental Operations a detailed report on the type, number, duration, costand effectiveness of State personal services contracts throughout Stategovernment.
