§ 143B‑152.14. Cooperation of State and local agencies.

All agencies of the State and local government, including theDepartment of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention, departments ofsocial services, health departments, local mental health, mental retardation,and substance abuse authorities, court personnel, law enforcement agencies, TheUniversity of North Carolina, the community college system, and cities andcounties, shall cooperate with the Department of Health and Human Services, andlocal nonprofit corporations that receive grants in coordinating the program atthe State level and in implementing the program at the local level. TheSecretary of Health and Human Services, after consultation with theSuperintendent of Public Instruction, shall develop a plan for ensuring thecooperation of State agencies and local agencies and encouraging thecooperation of private entities, especially those receiving State funds, in thecoordination and implementation of the program.
