The Edenton Historical Commission shall submit an annual report of itsactivities, holdings, and finances, including an audit of its accounts by acertified public accountant, to the Secretary of Cultural Resources. In theevent such annual report is not received by the Secretary, or if such reportdoes not indicate the need for the continuation of the Commission, theSecretary of Cultural Resources is authorized to recommend to the next GeneralAssembly the abolition of the Commission.
