§ 147‑33.80. Exemptagencies.

Except as otherwisespecifically provided by law, this Article shall not apply to the GeneralAssembly, the Judicial Department, or The University of North Carolina and itsconstituent institutions. These agencies may elect to participate in theinformation technology programs, services, or contracts offered by the Office,including information technology procurement, in accordance with the statutes,policies, and rules of the Office. (1999‑434, s. 10; 2000‑174,s. 2.)
