The office of the StateTreasurer is declared to be an office of deposit and disbursement and only suchrecords and accounts as may be necessary to disclose the accountability of theState Treasurer shall be kept. The purpose of this section is to preventduplication in account and record keeping and such accounts as may be necessaryshall be prescribed by the Director of the Budget under the terms of theExecutive Budget Act.
