§ 148‑23.2.  (EffectiveMarch 1, 2010) Mobile phones prohibited on State correctional facilitiespremises.

Except as authorized byDepartment of Correction policy, no person shall possess a mobile telephone orother wireless communications device on the premises of a State correctionalfacility. Notwithstanding the provisions of this section, an employee orvisitor may possess a mobile telephone or other wireless communications devicewithin the confines of a motor vehicle located in a designated parking area ofa correctional facility's premises if the mobile telephone or other wirelesscommunications device remains in the vehicle and the vehicle is locked when theemployee or visitor has exited the vehicle.  (2009‑560, s. 2.)
