§ 153A‑291. Cooperation between the Departmentof Transportation and any county in establishing or operating solid wastedisposal facilities.
A county and the Department of Transportation may enter into anagreement under which the Department of Transportation will make available tothe county the use of equipment and prison and other labor in order toestablish or operate solid waste disposal facilities within the county. Thecounty shall reimburse the Department of Transportation for the cost ofproviding the equipment and labor. The agreement shall specify the work to bedone thereunder and shall set forth the basis for reimbursement. (1967, c. 707; 1973, c. 507, s. 5; c. 822, s. 1; 1977,c. 464, s. 34.)
