Statutes > North-carolina > Chapter_153A > GS_153A-62§ 153A‑62. Effective date of any alteration.
Any approved alteration shall be the basis for nominating and electingthe members of the board of commissioners at the first succeeding primary andgeneral election for county offices held after approval of the alteration; andthe alteration takes effect on the first Monday in December following thatgeneral election.
