§ 153A‑94. Personnel rules; office hours, workdays, and holidays.
(a) The board of commissioners may adopt or provide for rulesand regulations or ordinances concerning but not limited to annual leave, sickleave, special leave with full pay or with partial pay supplementing workers'compensation payments for employees injured in accidents arising out of and inthe course of employment, working conditions, service award and incentive awardprograms, other personnel policies, and any other measures that promote thehiring and retention of capable, diligent, and honest career employees.
(b) The board of commissioners may prescribe the office hours,workdays, and holidays to be observed by the various offices, departments,boards, commissions, and agencies of the county. (1959, c. 251; 1973, c. 822, s. 1; 1991, c. 636, s.3.)
