§15A‑1216.  Impaneling jury.

After all jurors, includingalternate jurors, have been selected, the clerk impanels the jury byinstructing them as follows: "Members of the jury, you have been sworn andare now impaneled to try the issue in the case of State of North Carolinaversus ________. You will sit together, hear the evidence, and render yourverdict accordingly." (1977, c. 711, s. 1.)
