§ 15C‑6.  Falsifyingapplication information.

An applicant who falselyattests in an application that disclosure of the applicant's address wouldendanger the applicant's safety or the safety of the applicant's child or whoknowingly provides false information when applying for certification or renewalshall lose certification in the Program. The Attorney General shall investigateviolations of this section. Upon finding that a violation has occurred, theAttorney General shall assess a civil penalty against the applicant not toexceed five hundred dollars ($500.00). (2002‑171, s. 1.)
