§ 160A‑479.3. Membership.

Each unit of local government initially adopting a concurrentresolution under G.S. 160A‑479 shall become a member of the regionalauthority.  Thereafter, any local government may join the regional authority byratifying its charter and by being admitted by a majority vote of the existingmembers.  All of the rights and privileges of membership in a regional sportsauthority shall be exercised on behalf of its member governments by theirdelegates to the authority. (1989, c. 780, s. 1.)
