§ 162A‑58. Inconsistent laws declared inapplicable.

All general, special or local laws, or parts thereof inconsistentherewith are hereby declared to be inapplicable, unless otherwise specified, tothe provisions of this Article. It is specifically provided that Chapter 399 ofthe 1933 Public‑Local and Private Laws of North Carolina shall not beapplicable to any metropolitan water district created pursuant to theprovisions of this Article.
