Article 11B.

Challenge to a Candidacy.

§ 163‑127.1. Definitions.

As used in this Article, thefollowing terms mean:

(1)        Board. – State Boardof Elections.

(2)        Candidate. – Aperson having filed a notice of candidacy under the appropriate statute for anyelective office in this State.

(3)        Challenger. – Anyqualified voter registered in the same district as the office for which thecandidate has filed or petitioned.

(4)        Office. – Theelected office for which the candidate has filed or petitioned. (2006‑155, s. 1; 2006‑259,s. 48(a).)
