Article 11B.

Challenge to a Candidacy.

§ 163‑127.1. Definitions.

As used in this Article, thefollowing terms mean:

(1) Board. State Boardof Elections.

(2) Candidate. Aperson having filed a notice of candidacy under the appropriate statute for anyelective office in this State.

(3) Challenger. Anyqualified voter registered in the same district as the office for which thecandidate has filed or petitioned.

(4) Office. Theelected office for which the candidate has filed or petitioned. (2006‑155, s. 1; 2006‑259,s. 48(a).)
