§ 163‑276.  Convicted officials; removal fromoffice.

Any public official who shall be convicted of violating any provisionof Article 14A or 22 of this Chapter, in addition to the punishment provided bylaw, shall be removed from office by the judge presiding, and, if theconviction is for a felony, shall be disqualified from voting until hiscitizenship is restored as provided by law.
