(1) As used in thisarticle, "old article 9" means: G.S. 25‑1‑105, 25‑1‑201(9),25‑1‑201(37), 25‑2‑107, 25‑5‑116, andarticle 9 of chapter 25 of the General Statutes of North Carolina, UniformCommercial Code, as they are in effect on June 30, 1976, immediately prior tothe effective date of this act.
(2) As used in thisarticle, "new article 9" means: G.S. 25‑1‑105, 25‑1‑201(9),25‑1‑201(37), 25‑2‑107, 25‑5‑116, andarticle 9 of chapter 25 of the General Statutes of North Carolina, UniformCommercial Code, as said provisions are enacted pursuant to this act, as ofJuly 1, 1976, its effective date.
