§34‑7.  Certificate as evidence in regard to guardianship of mentallyincompetent wards.

Where a petition is filed forthe appointment of a guardian of a mentally incompetent ward a certificate ofthe Director, or his representative, setting forth the fact that such personhas been rated incompetent by the Bureau on examination in accordance with thelaws and regulations governing such Bureau; and that the appointment of aguardian is a condition precedent to the payment of any moneys due such personby the Bureau, shall be prima facie evidence of the necessity for suchappointment. (1929, c. 33, s. 7.)
