§47‑108.13.  Validation of certain instruments registered prior to January1, 1934.

In all cases where prior toJanuary 1, 1934 instruments by law required or authorized to be registered showthe signatures and seal of each of the grantors therein and further show thateach of such grantors has appeared before or signed such instruments in thepresence of a notary public, justice of the peace or other person dulyauthorized to take acknowledgments, and such instruments have been orderedregistered by the clerk of the superior court or other officer qualified topass upon probate and admit instruments to registration, and actually put onthe books in the office of the register of deeds, as if properly acknowledged,all such instruments and their registrations are hereby validated and made asgood and sufficient as though such instruments had been in all respectsproperly acknowledged: Provided, that this section shall not apply to any privyexamination or acknowledgment of a married woman.
