§47‑69.  Wife free trader; no examination or husband's assent.

In all cases prior to thetwenty‑fourth day of September, 1913, where a married woman who was atthe time a free trader by her husband's consent has executed and delivered adeed conveying her land, without her privy examination having been taken, andwithout the written assent of her husband other than his written assentcontained in the instrument making her a free trader, such deed shall be validand effectual to convey her land as if she had been, at the time of theexecution and delivery of such deed, a feme sole. This section does notvalidate such deed where it would affect the title to land or property ofpurchasers or their grantees or assignees from such married woman and freetrader subsequent to the execution of such deed.
