In all cases where any deed,mortgage or other instrument has heretofore been acknowledged or probated inaccordance with the provisions of G.S. 47‑87 and 47‑88, and suchdeed, mortgage or other instrument has been registered, without any order ofregistration by the probate judge or clerk of the superior court appearingthereon, the probate and registration of any and every such deed, mortgage orother instrument shall be, and hereby is, to all intents and purposesvalidated.
