§48‑3‑204.  Recruitment of adoptive parents.

(a)        The Social ServicesCommission may adopt rules requiring agencies to adopt and follow appropriaterecruitment plans for prospective adoptive parents.

(b)        The Division maymaintain a statewide photo‑listing service for all agencies within thisState as a means of recruiting adoptive parents for minors who have beenlegally freed for adoption.

(c)        Agencies and theDivision shall cooperate with similar agencies in other states, and withnational adoption exchanges in an effort to recruit suitable adoptive parents. (1995,c. 457, s. 2.)
