Purposes and Powers.
§ 55A‑3‑01. Purposes.
(a) Every corporationincorporated under this Chapter has the purpose of engaging in any lawfulactivity unless a more limited purpose is set forth in its articles ofincorporation.
(b) A corporation engagingin an activity that is subject to regulation under another statute of thisState may incorporate under this Chapter only if permitted by, and subject toall limitations of, the other statute. (1955, c. 1230; 1993, c. 398,s. 1.)
