Part 1. Conversion to LimitedLiability Company.

§ 57C‑9A‑01. Conversion.

A business entity other than adomestic limited liability company may convert to a domestic limited liabilitycompany if:

(1) The conversion is permittedby the laws of the state or country governing the organization and internalaffairs of the converting business entity; and

(2) The convertingbusiness entity complies with the requirements of this Part and, to the extentapplicable, the laws referred to in subdivision (1) of this section. (1999‑369, s. 3.7; 2001‑387,s. 93.)
