§58‑29‑15.  Action by Commissioner under Unfair Trade Practice Act.

If after 30 days following thegiving of the notice mentioned in G.S. 58‑29‑10 such insurer hasfailed to cease making, issuing, or circulating such false misrepresentationsor causing the same to be made, issued or circulated in this State, and if theCommissioner has reason to believe that a proceeding by him in respect to suchmatters would be to the interest of the public, and that such insurer isissuing or delivering contracts of insurance to residents of this State orcollecting premiums on such contracts or doing any of the acts enumerated inG.S. 58‑29‑20, he shall take action against such insurer under theUnfair Trade Practice Act. (1965, c. 910.)
