Subject to the retaliatoryprovisions of G.S. 58‑33‑30(i), there shall be no requirement thata licensed resident agent or broker must countersign, solicit, transact, take,accept, deliver, record, or process in any manner an application, policy,contract, or any other form of insurance on behalf of a nonresident agent orbroker or an authorized insurer; or share in the payment of commissions, ifany, related to such business.
