§ 58‑58‑270. Report to Commissioner.

Whenever any person licensedunder this Part knows or has reasonable cause to believe that any other personhas violated any provision of this Part, it is the duty of that person, uponacquiring the knowledge, to notify the Commissioner and provide theCommissioner with a complete statement of all of the relevant facts andcircumstances. The report is a privileged communication and when made withoutactual malice does not subject the person making the report to any liabilitywhatsoever. The Commissioner may suspend, revoke, or refuse to renew thelicense of any person who willfully fails to comply with this section. (2001‑436, s. 3.)
