§58‑71‑72.  Qualifications of instructors.

(a)        A person whoprovides, presents, or instructs a prelicensing course or continuing educationcourse under G.S. 58‑71‑71 must have a certificate of authorityissued by the Commissioner. The Commissioner may establish requirements for theissuance or renewal of a certificate of authority and grounds for the summarysuspension or termination of a certificate of authority.

(b)        The Commissionermay summarily suspend or terminate a certificate of authority to provide,present, or instruct a course if the Commissioner finds that the course isinaccurate or it received a poor evaluation from both a Department monitor anda majority of those who attended the course and responded to a Departmentquestionnaire about the course.
