§ 58‑86‑91. Deduction for payments to certain employees' or retirees' associations allowed.

Any member who is a member ofa domiciled employees' or retirees' association that has at least 2,000members, the majority of whom are active or retired employees of the State orpublic school employees, may authorize, in writing, the periodic deduction fromthe member's retirement benefits a designated lump sum to be paid to theemployees' or retirees' association. The authorization shall remain in effectuntil revoked by the member. A plan of deductions pursuant to this sectionshall become void if the employees' or retirees' association engages incollective bargaining with the State, any political subdivision of the State,or any local school administrative unit. (2002‑126, s. 6.4(f).)
