§59‑64.  Right of partner to contribution from copartners afterdissolution.

Where the dissolution iscaused by the act, death or bankruptcy of a partner, each partner is liable tohis copartners for his share of any liability created by any partner acting forthe partnership as if the partnership had not been dissolved unless

(1)        The dissolutionbeing by act of any partner, the partner acting for the partnership hadknowledge of the dissolution, or

(2)        The dissolutionbeing by the death or bankruptcy of a partner, the partner acting for thepartnership had knowledge or notice of the death or bankruptcy. (1941,c. 374, s. 34.)
