§59‑703.  Rights of creditor.

On application to a court ofcompetent jurisdiction by any judgment creditor of a partner, the court maycharge the partnership interest of the partner with payment of the unsatisfiedamount of the judgment with interest. The general partners shall have noliability to a partner for payments to a judgment creditor pursuant to thisprovision. To the extent so charged, the judgment creditor has only the rightsof an assignee of the partnership interest. This Article does not deprive anypartner of the benefit of any exemption laws applicable to his partnershipinterest. (1985 (Reg. Sess., 1986), c. 989, s. 2.)
