Free Insurance.
§ 66‑380. Definitions.
As used in this Article:
(1) "Consumergoods" means goods that are used primarily for personal, family, orhousehold purposes. For the purposes of this Article, consumer goods do notinclude automobiles or residences.
(2) "Freeinsurance" means any of the following:
a. Insurance for whichno identifiable or additional charge is made to the purchaser or lessee ofconsumer goods or services directly or indirectly connected with the purchaseof consumer goods.
b. Insurance for whichan identifiable or additional charge is made in an amount less than the cost ofsuch insurance as to the seller, lessor, or other person other than the insurerproviding the insurance. (2008‑124, s. 9.1.)
