Article 1.

Indian Antiquities.

§ 70‑1.  Privatelandowners urged to refrain from destruction.

Private owners of landscontaining Indian relics, artifacts, mounds or burial grounds are urged torefrain from the excavation or destruction thereof and to forbid such conductby others, without the cooperation of the director of the State Museum and theSecretary of the Department of Cultural Resources or without the assistance orsupervision of some person designated by either as qualified to make scientificarchaeological explorations.
