§74‑24.12.  Injunctions.

The Commissioner through theDirector may institute a civil action for relief, including a permanent ortemporary injunction, restraining order, or any other appropriate order in thesuperior court of the county in which a mine is located or in which theoperator of such mine has his principal office, whenever such operator or hisagent (i) violates or fails or refuses to comply with any final order ordecision issued under this Article or (ii) interferes with, hinders, or delaysthe Commissioner in carrying out the provisions of this Article, or (iii)refuses to admit the Commissioner or his authorized representative to the mine,or (iv) refuses to permit the inspection of the mine, or the investigation ofan accident or occupational illness occurring in, or connected with, such mine,or (v) refuses to furnish any information or report requested by theCommissioner in furtherance of the provisions of this Article.
