§8‑19.  Common survey of contiguous tracts evidence.

Whenever any person ownsseveral tracts of land which are contiguous or adjoining, but held underdifferent deeds and different surveys, it may be lawful for any such person tohave all such bodies of land included in one common survey by running aroundthe lines of the outer tracts, and thereupon the possession of any part of saidland covered by such common survey shall be deemed and held in law as apossession of the whole and every part thereof: Provided, that nothing in thissection shall be construed to affect the rights or claims of persons which havealready accrued to any part of said land. In all cases where such commonsurveys are made as directed by this section, the same may be recorded and registeredas in cases of deeds, and shall be evidence in like manner.
