Weights and Measures Act of1975.
Article 1.
Administration ofChapter.
§ 81A‑1. Weights andmeasures program provided for.
In order to protect thepurchasers or sellers of any commodity, and to provide uniform standards ofweight and uniform standards of measure throughout the State, which must be inconformity with the standards of weight and the standards of measureestablished by Congress, the Commissioner is hereby authorized to establish andmaintain a weights and measures program as is hereinafter provided.
