§87‑15.1.  Reciprocity of licensing.

To the extent that otherstates which provide for the licensing of general contractors provide forsimilar action, the Board in its discretion may grant licenses of the same orequivalent classification to general contractors licensed by other states,without written examination upon satisfactory proof furnished to the Board thatthe qualifications of such applicants are equal to the qualifications ofholders of similar licenses in North Carolina and upon payment of the requiredfee. (1971, c. 246, s. 5.)
