(a) The Board shalldetermine the number of hours and subject matter of continuing educationrequired as a condition of license renewal. The Board may offer continuingeducation to the licensees under this act.
(b) Upon request, theBoard may grant approval to a continuing education program or course uponfinding that the program or course offers an educational experience designed toenhance the practice of electrology.
(c) The Board shallmaintain and distribute, as appropriate, records of the educational course worksuccessfully completed by each licensee, including the subject matter and thenumber of hours of each course.
(d) Laser hairpractitioners are required to complete a minimum of 10 hours of continuingeducation annually to maintain their licenses pursuant to rules adopted by theBoard. (1989(Reg. Sess., 1990), c. 1033, s. 1; 2007‑489, s. 8.)
